Just back from school.
Maarten’s teacher wanted to discuss his school readiness.
I wasn’t worried because I know how well he can read or write letters, count to “million”, how creative he is and usually very well behaved, especially at school.
But there is something the teacher pointed out, something what’s not really new to me; his social and emotional development.
The CLB lady, who took the school readiness test last week, suggested checking him with the use of a brain scan.
We know our son is special but does he need to be "stamped"?
No, we are not going to follow her advice.
