It's happening!

We are filling in forms and the mandatory pre-assignment trip to our possible future home is about to be scheduled.
As Angola is a so-called hardship location we have the possibility to visit in advance to reduce culture shock and better understand what it is like to live and work in Luanda and Soyo.
Ooh yes, we can still refuse it. But honestly, I hope that won’t be necessary!

Getting vaccinations and arranging visa is probably going to be a next week’s challenge and we also need to arrange a caregiver for Maarten during our travel. This pre-assignment visit is seemingly offered to the employees and spouses only.
