| The school ended last Thursday and also Maarten admitted that he was sad saying good bye to his beloved teachers and friends. Many of them he will probably never see again as they are about to move to a new country or returning back home. That's what the expat life is all about - moving, making new friends and saying good bye again and again. |

| Despite the initial improvement after less than two days there were new traces and we had to repeat the treatment. It seems now that this second attempt was successful and we finally killed the beast! |

After 4th visit at the São Tomé e Príncipe embassy, which was quite nerve-racking, we finally got our visa!!

| Maarten and I are about to leave for Europe and even though I was looking forward to that many times I have mixed feelings about leaving Luanda. I often feel kind of caged here but on the other hand the last polio campaign was so much fun! |

I was just saying to someone else that one of the hardest parts of expat life is the constant goodbyes. At least when you're a little older you can keep in touch with people better.

Pochazim z Plzne, je mi 29 let a momentalne jsem doma v Cechach. Zila jsem nejakou dobu v Americe, Turecku, Rakousku, Francii a Portugalsku!
A proc Luanda? Klasika.. Muj pritel (Francouz-Portugalec) dostal zajimavou pracovni nabidku v jednom z hotelu, prave v Luande! Pred 6 mesici jsme se odstehovali z Portugalska, on do Afriky za praci a ja do Cech si dodelat kurz instruktora Pilates a nutricniho poradce, ktery jsem minuly patek uspesne dokoncila :) Neptej se mi jak jsme to tech 6 mesicu bez sebe zvladli, protoze to by vydalo na roman! Hlavni je, ze vse jde ted do finise! Dostala jsem tez nabidku na praci a cekam na viza! Popravde, je to poprve v zivote, kdy mam drobet strach z me cilove destinace! Ale to je asi normalni, nestehuju se preci na Manhattan, ale do centra Luandy!
Mela jsem ohromnou radost, ze jsem objevila Tvuj blog! Moc rada bych Te nekdy v budoucnu potkala. At uz na uzemi Cech ci Angoly!
